I have read hair and i dyed my hair. it went terrible. it started to grow out and it clashed badly with my red hair. it made me realize that my red hair is awesome and different. keep the red hair. i'm sure it looks fine. ^_^

don't dye your hair. it just leads to more problems (like the roots showing or an unnatural color). you will get better results from focusing on self acceptance.
