It all depends. How old is your baby? If she/he is still an infant the ginger colour you see will most likely darken and will not stay the same. Also, red hair is (obviously) a genetic trait. Does anyone in either of your families have natural red hair?

Your babies hair will still change, go lighter or darker,

I was born with black hair and now my hair is blond i dye my hair black so it depends.

And when children or teenagers go through puberty their hair change as well so don't stress to much.
