What does it mean if born with dark red hair but it turns white on your first birthday with no gradu

WoW. Nutritional change, or a geneticly linked timeclock from some ancestor?

Or, maybe need to call in 'ghostbusters!' Did a scare, such as seeing me without my makeup, cause it?...old wives tale, ....it turned my hair white.

The change was gradual, you just didn't notice it right away. My daughter was born with a head full of straight jet black hair, by her first birthday, it was blonde curls, and now she's a curly strawberry blonde at 4. They all even out eventually!

Radiation. Definitely. Definitely radiation. Radiation bad. Go see the doc. Go now. It's almost time for Wapner.

Many people show the recessive red-haired gene at birth, but change hair color in their first two years. It is very common in my family.

It may just be genetics. I used to babysit this little guy who was born with bright orange hair. No one in his immediate family had this hair colour. By the time he was 1 it was almost white. Again, no one in his immediate family had this colour. By the time he was 5 it was a light brown..the same colour as his father's. It is still that colour today and he is now 25.
