I don't dye my hair, but have more respect for people who go for the natural look. Pale skin tones go well with red or light blonde hair. I have seen really pale people with dirty blonde hair and for some reason it is not as good of a combination. Pale blonde hair has a startling contrast to tan skin. If you want a lot of attention it might be worth going for. Dark blonde hair with tan skin looks kind of cool. Pretty girls can have any hair color, pretty much. Color is only a small fraction of what makes hair pretty - styling, facial features, clothes and makeup, accessories, etc. complete the whole package. People say I have beautiful hair, which is long, shiny, wavy, and dark blonde - but it sure looks bad in the morning! Ha!

To me, it depends on the facial features of the person spoken about. Usually, a person with paler skin looks "better" with red hair while a person with tanner skin looks "better" with blonde hair.
